3 Marías BIOTECHNOLOGIES

Mexican biotechnology group · Demand-validation stage

A greener planet through science inspired by life.

The technology already runs inside every living organism. Our job is to understand it, test it, and translate only what survives the test.

Status of our claims on this page

This site can be audited.

  • 4 Verified Evidence exists and we can show it.
  • 4 In validation A hypothesis with a plan and an owner. No result yet.
  • 4 Not built yet It is in the plan. It does not exist today and we will not imply otherwise.

We do not publish a single capability without stating where it stands. The count below maps, row by row, to the evidence table and to EVIDENCIA.md in the repository.

If something changes status, it changes here and in the document.

In thirty seconds

What 3 Marías is, and who it exists for.

What we do

We hold six specialised units: plant production, food biotechnology, cosmetics, laboratory tools, biomedical research and the automation of living systems.

Who it is for

Growers and micropropagation labs, food and personal-care companies, research groups, technical distributors, and organisations that already have a biological problem and a budget to test it.

How we work

First we separate what we know from what we assume. Then we turn the assumption into a test with a success criterion defined before we start.

The six units

Six paths out of one intelligence.

Every unit declares its status. None is presented as finished unless it is.

The real status

What exists today, what we are testing, and what does not exist yet.

This is the section that costs us the most and distinguishes us the most. A technical buyer deserves to know where the evidence ends and the intention begins.

The plan

What we intend to do with this intelligence.

Four phases with a decision gate between each. If the gate does not open, we do not advance: we change course and say so.

  1. 00

    Demand validation

    Underway

Conversations with founding organisations to identify the highest-value problems and discard the ones that are not.

Gate: three problems with stated willingness to pay.

    In validation
  2. 01

    First concept programmes

    2026

Turn each prioritised problem into an experimental brief with evidence milestones and a success criterion agreed before starting.

Gate: one reproducible result per programme.

    Not built yet
  3. 02

    Development partnerships

    2027

Scale what survived the test, with programme architecture, operating controls and a defined commercial route.

Gate: repeatable delivery at a known cost.

    Not built yet
  4. 03

    Approvals by market

    2027 onward

Submit to the appropriate regulatory routes only what already holds enough evidence to support a claim.

    Gate: complete dossier per jurisdiction.

Living technology

Four billion years of research and development came before us.

LUCA — the last universal common ancestor — connects every known branch of life. DNA still carries that continuity: an information system able to copy, adapt and diversify.

The opportunity is not to imitate nature superficially. It is to understand mechanisms, test them, and translate only what works.

Simplified evolutionary tree from LUCA LUCA precedes the divergence of bacteria and archaea. Eukaryotes emerge later, in a history that includes endosymbiosis. Plants, fungi and animals descend from them, and within animals, humans. Origin of the chloroplast Origin of the mitochondrion Diversification LUCA Bacteria Archaea Cyanobacteria Asgard Eukaryotes Plants Fungi Animals Humans

This diagram is drawn with SVG and is visible without JavaScript. If something here does not show, that is our bug, not your limitation.

  • 01

    Origin of the mitochondrion

A symbiosis that enabled more complex cells.

  • 02

    Origin of the chloroplast

Captured light turned into living infrastructure.

  • 03

    Diversification

Plants, fungi and animals as branches, not as steps.

Scientific accuracy

This is a simplified educational diagram, not a timescale and not an exhaustive taxonomic tree. Early evolution also includes horizontal gene transfer and relationships more complex than a single line of descent.

Humans are a recent branch, not the goal of the process.

Engagement routes

Let us start at the right level of uncertainty.

Four ways to work with us. None is presented as a closed package, because scope is defined with the problem in front of us.

Bring a challenge

Frequently asked questions

Clear answers from an early stage.

Is 3 Marías commercially operating?

We are in a pre-launch demand-validation phase. Plant production exists and operates; the remaining units are in validation or in planning, and each one declares that above.

Are the food, medical and cosmetic solutions approved?

No. No blanket approval or automatic efficacy is implied. Every concept must earn its evidence through suitable testing, safety work and the regulatory route of its market.

Which companies should contact us?

Growers, micropropagation labs, food and personal-care companies, healthcare innovators, research groups and technical distributors that already have an identified problem.

Where will you work first?

Initial validation focuses on Mexico, followed by North America and Europe, with international collaboration possible from the start.

What does an initial engagement cost?

Terms are shaped with founding organisations. The first conversation adjusts scope, evidence and operating complexity before we propose a starting point.

Let's talk

Tell us where you work and what problem you have.

We use the conversation to understand demand, identify a credible starting point, and decide whether we are the right organisation. If we are not, we will say so.

What happens next

  1. A human reads your message. No automated reply decides for us.
  2. If there is a fit, we propose a thirty-minute call with a concrete agenda.
  3. If there is not, we tell you why and, where we can, point you to who is.
